The 44-year-old former White House aid and daughter to President Donald Trump, was photographed taking a surfing lesson while on a family vacation in Costa Rica.
In the photos, Ivanka is wearing black bikini bottoms and a long-sleeved white rash guard as she took on the waves on her green surfboard.
Some of the photos show her standing up on the board and shredding the waves, while others show her standing next to the surfboard while knee-deep in the water as she waits for the next wave.

This isn’t the first time Ivanka has been spotted surfing in the Central American country. She sported a in April 2025 while there on vacation to celebrate the Easter holiday.
“Grateful doesnt begin to cover it. Spending Passover and Easter week surrounded by the raw beauty of Costa Rica was a gift beyond words,” she wrote on X at the time. “Time slowed. We surfed under golden skies, zipped through the jungle canopy, leapt into cool waterfalls, read until the sun dipped low, and surrendered to stillness and deep sleep.”
Also joining her on that trip were her brother-in-law Joshua Kushner, and his wife, model Karlie Kloss.
Ivanka recently shared a carousel of photos on Instagram from various trips and moments with her family taken over the summer, which featured her husband, Jared Kushner, and their sons, Theodore and Joseph.
One of the photos show Ivanka sitting in a swimming pool in a black one-piece swimsuit, while others show her posing with her husband and kids, as well as some of her kids golfing and doing archery.
“Summer Snaps,” she captioned the post.
“Authenticity and beauty in one frame.â¥ï¸” one fan wrote in the comments section. Another added, “Absolutely beautiful.. we all love the Trump family â¤ï¸.”
During , Ivanka served as a senior advisor to her father all four years.
“It’s the world’s loneliest position [the presidency], the enormity of the decisions you’re making on a daily basis, how transactional everyone is with you,” she said during an appearance on “The Skinny Confidential Him & Her” podcast in January 2025.
At the time she shared that she was looking forward to taking a step back during her , adding she is happy to be “able to show up for him as a daughter and be there for him…in a very loving way as his daughter.”
