Some cordless vacuums cost hundreds, but Amazon’s October Prime Day dropped this Shark model by 50% to $149.99. Its strong suction, lightweight design and pet-hair pickup make it easy to clean carpets and hard floors without lugging around a bulky traditional vacuum.

Original price: $299.99

Shark’s Pet cordless vacuum is now 50% off, bringing the price down to $149.99. It runs for up to 40 minutes without a cord and features bright LED headlights that help reveal hidden fur, dust and debris on carpets and hard floors.

The vacuum also converts to a handheld model and includes a multi-pet tool and crevice tool for cleaning furniture, stairs and tight spaces.

Its extra-large dust cup holds more debris between emptyings, while the lightweight design makes it easier to maneuver around your home.

This vacuum has 16,000 reviews and a 4-star rating. A 50% discount brings the price down from $299.99 to $149.99 — its lowest price this year, according to price-tracking data.

At $150, this model costs considerably less than other premium brands while still featuring LED headlights, powerful suction and an extra-large dust cup.

The LED lights are a standout. One reviewer said the lights make it nearly impossible to miss crumbs or dog hair and called the feature “a game changer.”

The lightweight design is easy to grab for quick cleanups. A reviewer praised the skinny attachment and sliding brush head. “I’m able to clean couch cushions, bathroom mats, corners, counters and tables. I would buy this again if I had to.”

Another reviewer wrote: “I’m impressed with what was coming up from the carpets and mats: Small bits like cat litter and large bits of lint and hair.”

Despite the positive reviews, this Shark vacuum has a few drawbacks. Some reviewers said setup can be a bit complicated, even when following the directions, and that it takes some trial and error to understand. Once setup is completed, though, reviewers say it’s smooth sailing.
