Brandi Glanville speaks out on complex diagnosis and $6K monthly medical battle

is opening up about a series of complex medical diagnoses and the staggering cost of treating a painful condition that has affected her face.

On Tuesday, the former star – who has been open about a series of health battles over the past couple years – took to social media to reveal she has been diagnosed with highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, Coccidioidomycosis, also known as Valley Fever, Demodex dermatitis and mononucleosis.

“Im finally ready to tell you what Ive actually been fighting and to start sharing some of my worst moments leading up to finally getting diagnosed,” she wrote on Instagram, accompanied by a video montage of various stages of her journey.

In addition to the diagnoses, Glanville said she has a “fungal ball” in her face that needs to be surgically removed. She also expects to undergo procedures to remove metals from old dental work and breast implants.

“Im looking at 4-6 months of daily IV treatment,” she wrote.

Glanville said the treatment has been difficult and that she has seen “very little improvement” so far. She added that the medical battle is expected to cost between $3,300 and $6,000 per month.

“Im not able to work right now other than my podcast and I honestly dont know how Im going to do this mentally or financially,” she admitted.

The reality star has previously said she receives IV infusions for as many as 18 hours a day. The grueling treatments have made it difficult for her to sleep, eat and participate in normal activities.

“I just want this s— out of my body,” Glanville wrote. “I want my health back. I want my life back. I want to feel like me again.”

Glanville also addressed the videos and photos she shared showing the physical toll of her illness.

“I know I dont look good in these videos,” she wrote. “Honestly, I dont care. I feel terrible and this is what being sick looks like for me right now. So please be nice in the comments. Im already fighting enough.”

Glanville previously shared that she believed she  after visiting Morocco in 2023. She suffered from facial paralysis and initially was diagnosed with stress-induced angioedema.

Glanville previously told Fox News Digital that while no one had figured out what was truly wrong with her disfigured face, doctors had suggested “that it could be a parasite, but they’re not sure.”
